An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reception and nursery teacher at Great Steeping Primary School. We are a small, inclusive and aspirational rural primary school in Lincolnshire close Skegness and the market towns of Spilsby, Alford and Horncastle.
We want to appoint a teacher who provides an exciting, inclusive, language-rich learning environment that promotes high achievement and excellent progress for all.
We wish to appoint a teacher who:
• Can inspire and motivate our children to reach their full potential whatever their prior levels of attainment

• Is flexible and creative in their approach to learning and reflective about their own practice

• Proactively and effectively deploys teaching assistants to ensure all children, especially those with SEND, have access to quality-first teaching
Ideally starting January 2026, a later start can be considered for the right candidate.
What skills and experience we're looking for:
• This position is for a teacher with knowledge and experience of the Early Years curriculum.
We are looking for someone who will:
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Be flexible, innovative, imaginative and creative
• Be innovative, highly motivated and eager
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching tailored to the needs, abilities, and prior knowledge of all pupils, ensuring progress and attainment.
• Be strongly committed to inclusion and building a sense of belonging in our learners
• Have a positive approach to behaviour management with a proven record of success
• Bring a sense of energy, enthusiasm and humour to the role
• Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and pupils’ well-being.
• Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on children’s progress, using data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
• Paediatric first aid training would be desirable.
