Job Introduction
Old Leake Primary Academy are looking for a EHCP Teaching Assistant to join their team.
At Old Leake Primary Academy we offer high quality teaching for children aged 3-11 years old, within a close knit community where every child is known and valued.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, stimulating and open academy where all children try to do their best - from the minute they enter, to when they leave for secondary school.
You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted support for pupils with EHCPs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and small group support in line with EHCP targets
Adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual needs
Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and reports
This position is 25 hours per week, and temporary until August 31st 2026.

Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with EHCPs
English and Maths GCSE, Grade C/4 or equivalent
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

Fluency Duty
