Frithville Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant 1-2-1 EHCP & School Midday Supervisory Assistant (Open to Job Share)

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with teachers to support, guide and help our children succeed.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of activities, and in the delivery of local and national initiatives e.g. literacy and numeracy strategy.
• Participate in the preparation of the classroom.
• Be familiar with all relevant Education, Health and Care Plans of special educational needs for those you support.
• Monitor children’s needs and reporting these to a designated person.
• Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social). Foster growth, self-esteem and independence, observe and record development.

• A temporary, part-time role of 30 hours per week (TA) and 2.5 hours per week (SMSA) for 39 weeks per year.
• Salary upon appointment for Teaching Assistant role Grade 3 Scale Point 6 £24,796 (actual £19,600) with potential to rise to Point 9 £25,989 (actual £20,543).
• Salary upon appointment for SMSA role Grade 2 Scale Point 3 £24,413 (actual £1,608) with potential to rise to Point 6 £24,796 (actual £1,633).
