Job Introduction



Heckington St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Receptionist & Administrator to become the welcoming face of our Church of England Primary School.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organisational skills and thrives in a busy school environment. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors and the wider community, you will play a vital role in ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome while providing high-quality administrative support to our staff and pupils.

The role includes:
-Welcoming visitors and parents to the school office.
-Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries professionally.
-Providing administrative support including filing, data entry, word processing and photocopying.
-Maintaining accurate messages and ensuring they reach the appropriate staff.
-Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
-Providing First Aid support (training can be provided if required).

We are looking for someone who:

-Has experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
-Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Is confident using Microsoft Office and school ICT systems (or is willing to learn).
-Can prioritise a varied workload whilst remaining calm under pressure.
-Is professional, approachable and committed to excellent customer service.
-Works well as part of a team and uses initiative.
-Supports and values the Christian ethos of our Church of England school.

This permanent position is subject to a 6 month probation period.

Fluency Duty
