Job Introduction
Our school: Tattershall Primary School.
NOR: 137
Tattershall Primary is a small school set in the beautiful village of Tattershall. It prides itself on its ‘family feel’, with a strong school community where the whole unique child is valued and encouraged to blossom. At Tattershall Primary School, our vision is rooted in nurturing confident, curious learners within a caring and inclusive community. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year R Teacher who shares our commitment to providing a rich, inspiring early years experience, where every child feels valued and supported. We are passionate about a play-based approach in early years and maximise opportunities for child-led learning whilst carefully balancing it with short, developmentally appropriate adult-directed sessions. We have a strong early years curriculum in place and an experienced early years teacher who will be the successful candidate’s job-share. We pride ourselves on our supportive ethos and the value we place on keeping the children at the heart of all we do. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collaborative team that strives for excellence in teaching and learning from the very start of each child’s journey.
Applications from teachers at any point in their teaching career are welcomed. We encourage all interested applicants to visit our wonderful school with a tour from the Headteacher.
We are looking for a teacher who:
• Is passionate about early years education.
• Can make learning irresistible and fun so that children just love learning and exploring.

• Builds strong, meaningful and caring relationships with children.
• Has a good understanding of the early years curriculum.
• Is a good communicator.
• Understands early child development.
• Is committed to building positive relationships with families and colleagues alike, and can work as part of a team.
We can offer you:
• A senior leadership team who are supportive, approachable, work collaboratively with the whole staff team and have a commitment to the wellbeing of their staff and children.
• An early years setting which is passionate about a play-based approach to learning and ensuring provision is developmentally appropriate for children.
• Friendly, hardworking and well-mannered children.
• A chance to work alongside a team of friendly, committed and highly skilled staff.
• Continued professional development.
• A ‘family’ environment, where unity and teamwork are valued amongst our whole community.
• A strong Governing Board who prioritise staff well-being alongside educational excellence.
If you are passionate about early years education, you might be the person we are looking for!
